Cash stolen in early morning Etters, Lewisberry business burglaries

Fairview Township Police are investigating a series of overnight burglaries at local businesses in York County. The burglaries reportedly happened during the early morning hours on Monday, Oct. 31.

The burglarized businesses are located in the 500 block of Old York Road and on Financial Way in Etters as well as the 600 block of Wyndamere Road, Lewisberry, Fairview Township police said. The buildings were entered by prying the doors or windows.

Cash was taken from several of the businesses, but some were just rummaged through with no theft, according to a police report. In addition, there was a burglar alarm that was activated on a business on Industrial Drive, Lewisberry, but no entry was gained to the business. Police are not sure if it is linked to the others.
