YORK, Pa.-- Before it closes for renovations, the last event at the historic Yorktowne Hotel will be Flavors of York this Sunday, November 6.
Flavors of York is a culinary gala in which an evening of food tasting, raffles, music and door prizes highlight the night.
Last year, 19 different vendors offered up their delicious selections.
While Flavors of York is a celebration of food, there is also a cause it supports as well.
Doing Good for Goode is a project that helps support the Alexander D. Goode school in York City. Previously, contributions have included school supplies, donating Kindles for an entire grade to use, and re-mulching the playground. Funds from the Flavors of York are used to make these contributions.
Flavors of York is a 21 and over event. Tickets are $40 and $45 if purchased at the door, if the event is not sold out ahead of time.
