TURNING MILDER AGAIN

Here is a look at November average temperatures.  By the end of the month, average highs are in the upper40s.  Right now the average high is 59.  The next couple of days will be warm in the 70s before it turns cooler by Friday.

Clouds break up to allow for more sunshine for Wednesday. A shift in the winds to the southwest draws in much warmer air.  Highs jump to the lower 70s under partly sunny skies.   Our next front arrives Thursday with the threat for showers during the afternoon and evening.  Before the first drops fall, we manage to sneak in another mild day with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s.   As we end the week, the chilly, fall air returns.  A cloud-sun mix expected Friday, and a brisk north wind holds temperatures in the 50s.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK

The weekend looks dry with partly cloudy skies.  Highs are near 60 for Saturday.  A weak front coming through overnight knocks temps down a few degrees for the second half of the weekend.  We see nothing more than a shift in the winds with this system so the weekend is looking dry.

NEXT WEEK

Expect more sunshine heading into the week. After a cold morning, temperatures recover to near seasonable averages around 60 degrees.   High pressure brings another mostly sunny day Tuesday and temperatures are a few degrees warmer.

DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME ENDS

This weekend we turn our clocks back an hour as Daylight Saving Time ends.  It is also a good time to check the batteries in your smoke alarms and CO Detectors.
