National Guard recruiting takes off in your local high schools

YORK, Pa.-- The National Guard gets to our communities roots when recruiting.

In fact, the Pennsylvania National Guard goes into local high schools and supports community events to help gain new members.

The York Recruiting team conducts high school visits on a monthly basis, and will be visiting these schools in the upcoming months:

Kennard Dale High School

Red Lion High School

Susquehannock High School

Eastern High School

Central York High School

West York High School

William Penn High School

The team will be present during the Central York High School Football Tailgate for the game against William Penn on November 4, as well as the Tyrants Duels Wrestling Tournament at the York Expo Center on January 20, 2017.

SSG Mike Schriefer from the Pennsylvania Army National Guard is coming to the set of FOX43 Morning News to offer more on the National Guard.
