UPPER ALLEN, Pa.– An Etters woman is facing charges after an investigation revealed that she had been stealing from her employer for years.

Gina Stahlnecker, 48, is facing tampering with records, theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception, receiving stolen property, and theft by failure to make required disposition of funds charges for stealing money from her employer.

On July 25, police received a complaint from a local business that had discovered an employee, Stahlnecker, was stealing while employed there. During the investigation, police learned that between the years of 2005-2014, Stahlnecker had been manipulating a company account so that she received the proceeds without her employers knowledge.

Stahlnecker turned herself in on Wednesday, November 2, and was released on bail. She will face a preliminary hearing at a later date.
