CAMP HILL, Pa. - Republican U.S. Senator Pat Toomey making a campaign stop in Cumberland County today. He met with employees at the R.F. Fager Company. He spoke with them about what he will do if re-elected into office and the status of the Pennsylvania economy.
"What's normal for the U.S. economy, what's normal for Pennsylvania is a booming economy that's growing and creating more opportunities for everyone, lifting wages and raising the standard of living," said U.S. Senator Pat Toomey. "That's what's normal, and the reason we're not having that kind of experience is the policies coming out of Washington have held us back."
Toomey is facing off against Democrat Katie Mcginty in the general election on November 8th.
