LANCASTER, Pa.– A Lancaster man will serve up to 10 years for dealing heroin and crack cocaine.

Travis Short, 32, is now facing his third conviction for drug-dealing offenses.

Previously, he has served prison sentences for dealing cocaine.

On Monday, Judge Margaret Miller sentenced Short to 5-10 years in state prison, which is at the high end of the state sentencing guidelines. Miller pointed to Short’s criminal past for the longer sentence.

Short had 1.2 grams of heroin and 4.28 grams of crack cocaine that was packaged for sales when city police went to his Lehigh Avenue home on Nov. 12, 2015.

He will now serve consecutive counts for his crimes.
