North Carolina man dies after workplace accident in York

YORK, Pa.– A North Carolina man died after suffering a blow to the head while working.

Gary Hildebrand, 60, died from his injuries at York Hospital on November 8.

Hildebrand was employed as a truck driver for F. L. Moore & Sons, Inc. in Lynchburg, Virginia.

On November 7, Hildebrand was working in Dover Twp. when a lead pipe fell from his truck and struck him in the head.

He was taken to York Hospital but succumbed to his injuries on November 8.
