Police identify victim killed in Codorus Township car accident

Pennsylvania State Police identified the driver involved in a fatal accident in Codorus Township. Connie Salmons of Joppa, Maryland was found dead at the scene on Steltz Road Wednesday, Nov. 9.

Salmons, police reported, was traveling west on Steltz Road at an unsafe speed for road conditions when she lost control of her car. According to a police report, she fishtailed and was unable to regain control of the car.

She hit the dirt bank on the north side of the roadway. Salmon flipped several times and struck a large tree on the north side of the road.

Salmon was identified and her next of kin was notified.
