Penbrook man arrested for violent assault of woman

PENBROOK, Pa. — A Penbrook man is arrested after police say he violently assaulted a woman. Christopher Haggerty, 34, of 24th Street in Penbrook, was charged with Aggravated Assault on Sunday November 13th. Police were called for a reported domestic dispute about 7:30 PM and found Haggerty had violently assaulted a woman. He was taken into custody and arraigned at night court. He was committed to Dauphin County Prison on bail and a parole violation.
