MAINLY DRY THROUGH MIDWEEK: Plenty of clouds begins Tuesday as a weak system drifts nearby, but sunshine breaks through during the afternoon. In the meantime, clouds dominate the morning. A few light showers are possible, but many are dry. Temperatures are chilly to start, with readings in the 30s to lower 40s. Sunshine begins to break through during the afternoon, resulting in partly cloudy skies for most. Readings warm into the middle to upper 50s. Clouds remain in place as yet another system approaches the region on Wednesday. There’s a small chance for a shower or two, but most are dry. Temperatures are in the middle to upper 50s.
WARMING UP: Plenty of sunshine ends the week due to a strong area of high pressure. It also helps boost temperatures too. Thursday the warming begins. Expect temperatures in the 50s to lower 60s as a warm front lifts north. The mildest of the air is in place by Friday. Temperatures by then reach the lower to middle 60s.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK: The weekend begins mild, but a sharp plummet in temperatures is expected. Most of Saturday looks dry and mild. We’re watching the timing of our next system, and it could bring a late day shower. There’s sunshine to start, and it’s enough to boost temperatures back into the lower to middle 60s. Showers move through overnight Saturday, and could mix with flakes late to the northwest. Sunday sees much chillier temperatures and plenty of clouds. A few rain and snow showers are possible too. Highs are in the 40s. The chill and clouds are still in place Monday. An isolated shower can’t be completely ruled out. It’s breezy, with highs in the 40s.
