THIS WEEK

Tonight skies are clear leading to a cold night with lows dropping to the lower and middle 30s.  Clouds are on the increase during the day as our next system approaches Wednesday.  Still expect sunshine to mix in and out  and only a spotty shower is possible.  Highs continue mild and above average in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees.

A strong area of high pressure builds for the rest of the week resulting in plentiful sunshine.  Much warmer air traverses the area with temperatures reaching the lower and middle 60s for Thursday and Friday.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK

We begin the weekend dry and mild.  Temperatures climb to the lower and middle 60s again under plenty of sunshine.  Clouds start to build in filtering the sun late in the day Saturday.   Our next system is packing a punch.  Showers move in during the evening and overnight along with much colder air.  The air is so cold, a few flakes could mix in across our northwest counties Saturday night .

Temperatures drop almost 20 degrees by Sunday as highs only climb to the 40s. Increasing winds add to the cold and miserable day.  A few rain and snow showers are possible too.  It’s another cloudy and cold day Monday.  An isolated shower can’t be ruled out.  Winds are still breezy with highs remaining in the 40s.
