EAST HEMPFIELD TWP., Pa. – The third annual Veterans Expo was held Tuesday at Spooky Nook Sports Complex. The event is designed to introduce veterans and potential employers.
“When you’re overseas and you’re fighting for your life and for the safety and freedom of our country, it’s just not right for you to come back to the country and have to fight for a job. So, we really appreciate all the businesses that come out that support this initiative to hire veterans,” said coordinator, Donna Anderson.
For those that were not able to attend there is a complete list of companies that attended on the event’s website. Most employers accept online applications.
It also serves as a place where veterans can go to find out what benefits are available to them.
