Man charged in connection to early November assault

LANCASTER, Pa.– Police are charging a man in connection with an early November assault.

Marquan Boyer, 23, has been charged with Aggravated Assault and Robbery. He is already in Lancaster County Prison on unrelated charges.

On November 4 at approximately at 3:35 a.m., officers came upon an injured male subject in the 700 block of Marietta Ave. The unknown male appeared to be staggering and had leaves and debris on his clothing. He was also bleeding from his face, with injuries that were consistent with an assault.

Officers took the victim to the hospital for medical treatment, and it was found that the head serious head injuries and required surgery.

After interviewing witnesses and requesting video from cameras in the area, detectives were able to identify Boyer as the suspect in the crime.
