LANCASTER, Pa.– A burglar is set to serve up to 23 years in prison for targeting five homes in his Lancaster Township neighborhood.

Gary Lee Hollow, Jr., 35, was sentenced to 10 to 23 years in prison.

Hollow, Jr. stole jewelry, cash, and electronics during his January spree on Chadwick Circle and Judie Lane. He broke into the homes via basement windows between the dates of Jan. 12 and Jan. 26. He was a resident of the 1600 block of Chadwick Circle.

District Attorney Christopher Larsen said in court that each victim was impacted by the crimes and asked the judge to order, separate, consecutive prison terms for each home, which the judge did.

Hollow, Jr. has also been ordered to pay back about $5,000 in remaining restitution to the victims.

In court, Hollow, Jr. said that drug addiction led him to commit these crimes.
