UNIVERSITY PARK – There’s much more at stake than a win or loss for Penn State’s football team at Rutgers on Saturday Night. For the third straight year, the Nittany Lions are holding a touchdown drive to benefit PSU’s Uplifting Athletes chapter. They have partnered up with the group at Pledge It to host an online drive where fans can donate money per touchdown against the Scarlet Knights.

"The players are really excited about it," explained Pledge It Founder & CEO Scott Shirley. "The Uplifting Athletes chapter is run by current members of the Penn State football team. They're using Pledge It to engage the fans and process pledges and donations. (PSU QB) Trace McSorley said it's definitely something good for the team. It's even better for the people that it benefits."
