MANCHESTER TWP., York County, Pa. — A man with a knife reportedly robbed a Subway in Manchester Township. It happened Wednesday around 10:24pm at the Subway located at 351 Loucks Road.

Police say the suspect, described as a black male standing about 5’8″ – 5’9″ tall, wearing gloves, a dark colored hoodie sweatshirt, gray shoes, dark jeans and a mask entered the store holding a knife. The robber then walked behind the counter and held the knife to an employee’s neck and ordered them to open the register. He then emptied the cash out of the register and fled the scene. Neither the employees nor two customers that were inside the store at the time were injured.

Witnesses observing the male fleeing the store directed Officers to the area of LA Fitness. Officers were able to recover the sweatshirt, mask, gloves, and a sheath for the knife. The Officers also recovered cash laying in the area.
