Driver flees scene of crash that injures 10 people in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Just before 6 o’clock Friday night, Harrisburg Police responded to multiple calls of a vehicle accident at S. 13th & Derry Streets.  Upon arrival officers discovered multiple vehicles damaged.  It was determined that a vehicle drove south on 13th Street at a recklessly high speed striking a car on Derry Street.  This vehicle became airborne striking eight other vehicles and injuring  10 people.

derry1img_1179Several victims were taken to various area hospitals with minor to moderate injuries. None were life threatening. The driver of vehicle that caused the accident fled the scene. The accident scene covered half a city block.

So no arrests and the investigation continues.
