Several guns and cash stolen from Lancaster County homes

BROWNSVILLE, LANCASTER COUNTY, PA. — Police are investigating a string of burglaries after firearms and cash were stolen from homes and a small business.

Officials say the incidents took place on Thurs., Nov. 17 and Sat., Nov. 19 in the areas of Groffdale Church Road and Brick Church Road.  They say in two of the burglaries, someone entered homes when the people inside were asleep. In another, they say an office was broken into.

Five rifles and shotguns were stolen along with an undetermined amount of cash.

Police ask residents of West Earl Township to be vigilant and report suspicious activity.
