SWATARA TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- The holidays can be stressful when it comes to buying the right gift for your family and friends. But one company is trying to relieve that stress, by delivering those gifts for you on time.

Brian Fuller, the human resources manager for Eastern Pennsylvania UPS, said the week after Thanksgiving is an especially busy seven days for the company because of online sales.

"It's like UPS's Super Bowl," Fuller said, "The amount of volume that we get with the e-commerce and the amount of e-commerce that people are doing is just increasing every year, and every year UPS continues to develop plans to help address what we expect to get from our large shippers."

But the package delivery company is asking for help this time of year. It is looking to fill more than 200 seasonal jobs as package handlers and driver helpers.

"A driver might go out with however many stops they have, and if they don't have a helper to help maybe take one side of the street while they're doing the other side of the street. It's going to take twice as long," Fuller said.

And he said this opportunity could lead to a full-time job with UPS. The CEO of the company started as a seasonal package handler and worked his way up.

"We like to share that story because I think it's a great story about the culture of UPS and what we have to offer. Even a seasonal position - it can lead to a great career," Fuller said.
