West Manheim Township, York County — A 25-year-old man, who assaulted his girlfriend and her friend early Sunday morning, was arrested on charges of Terroristic threats, two counts of Simple Assault, False Imprisonment, Harassment, and Criminal Mischief.
According to a West Manheim Township Police Department report, officers responded to a call at 2868 Baltimore Pike, Apt. #4 Pleasant Hill Apartments in West Manheim Township. The call was received from the girlfriend of Alexander Daniel White, who was at the resident allegedly intoxicated and angry.
Police said White reportedly struck his girlfriend several times, which resulted in minor injuries. She told police officers that White proceeded to take her and her friend’s cell phone, refusing to give them back.
When she attempted to retrieve their phones, White allowed her into her apartment, however, would not let her leave, police said. He then tied their legs together with rope and pointed a “black shotgun” at her.
She told police that White said to her, “I could kill you, bury your body and no one would know where you are.”
She eventually was able to escape the apartment to call police. As she was trying to leave, the girlfriend told police that she noticed he had punctured tires on her friend’s car that was parked in the apartment complex.
West Manheim Township Police department explained that they conducted surveillance at the apartment complex and arrested White at 4:40 p.m. The incident began at 9:13 a.m.
A search of the apartment revealed that there was considerable damage to property inside. Police said they also found two black shotguns, numerous shotgun shells, rope and drug paraphernalia.
White was charged with Terroristic threats, Simple Assault – 2 counts, False Imprisonment, Harassment, and Criminal Mischief.
White was arraigned at Central Booking and bail was set at $15,000.
