LEBANON, Pa. — The man that was struck by a train on Monday, has been identified as Wilhelm Dauberman. The 51 year-old Lebanon resident was struck by a Norfolk Southern train around 4:30pm when witnesses say he stopped at the southern set of rails and tried to run across the tracks just west of the N. 8th Street crossing, but he tripped on a southern rail and fell into the path of the oncoming train.

Dauberman died from his injuries.

There is no marked or lighted crossing where the Dauberman was struck.
