Window smashed out during attempted burglary at CVS in Upper Allen Township

UPPER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, CUMBERLAND COUNTY–Police are investigating after someone used a large rock to smash out a window at the CVS in Upper Allen Township during an attempted burglary early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to the store located along the 100 block of Gettysburg Pike around 2:30 a.m. after a burglar alarm was tripped. Police discovered that someone tried to get into the store by smashing out a side window with a rock.

Investigators say the person did not enter the store and nothing was taken.
