SPRING GARDEN TOWNSHIP, YORK COUNTY, PA. -- It seems a lot of people are taking to the woods on the opening day of rifle season hoping to set their sights on a buck.

FOX43 paid a visit to Miller's Meats in Spring Garden Township and found a steady stream of hunters pulling in to drop off their kills. One man has been hunting for 50 years.

"I got a 3-point. It's my third one with half a rack," Ken Shaee, Jr. of Lewisberry, York County said. "I just can't seem to get the full racks yet."

That deer was also Shaee's first buck in 30 years.

Rifle deer season end on December 10th.
