WELCOME RAIN

It’s a dry evening for outdoor plans but a thick blanket of clouds will stretch across the area.  Temperatures not expected to fall quickly with the overcast skies.  Expect them to remain fairly steady in the 40s. Showers spread in overnight and keep temperatures milder in the upper 30s and middle 40s.  The rain will give us a much-needed soaking.   Showers still linger Tuesday but despite the gray, wet skies, temperatures are mild in the middle and upper 50s to near 60 degrees.  Scattered showers are still likely for Wednesday and total two-day rainfall could exceed a much-needed inch of rain.

Much needed rain arrives!

Highs are even milder in the lower 60s.   Drier air returns Thursday but so does cooler air as temperatures slip back to the upper 40s and lower 50s.   We continue dry for Friday as sunshine mixes with clouds. Highs range in the middle and upper 40s.

Much needed rain arrives!

WEEKEND OUTLOOK

We’ll see a dry and partly sunny start to the weekend with highs in the middle 40s.  Sunday is looking iffy. Models are in complete disagreement on the next storm system.  Right now, clouds increase across the area and showers are likely to move in late in the day.  Highs are still chilly in the lower and middle 40s.

MORE RAIN NEXT WEEK

Monday, showers are still possible.  Highs still manage to reach upper 40s to near 50 degrees.
