DRIER DAYS AHEAD

Breezy west-northwest winds set up Thursday helping to pull in drier air.  They also bring in cooler but seasonable air. Temperatures are actually warmer just after midnight in the lower and middle 50s.

Breezy, drier and cooler day Thursday

They fall to the lower 40s by early morning and only recover a few degrees around noon time to the middle and upper 40s to near 50 degrees. We begin the day with sunshine but the clouds quickly bubble up during the day.  The breezy conditions hang around for Friday. We’ll see a bit more sunshine but temperatures are back in the 40s across the area.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK

High pressure builds in Saturday relaxing the breeze.  Clouds still mix with some sunshine and temperatures stay pretty uniform in the middle and upper 40s both days.  We are still watching a system for the second half of the weekend.  Clouds increase during the day Sunday and while most of the day remains dry, we could see a few showers in the evening and overnight.  Air is cold enough to allow for a little wintry mix in our northwestern counties and higher elevations.

WET START TO THE WEEK

Plenty of showers begin the first full week of December.  High temperatures climb to near 50 degrees.  We could still see a few showers on Tuesday with highs in the 40s. It is dry and quiet midweek with temperatures reaching 50 degrees under partly to mostly sunny skies.
