Harrisburg man sentenced to prison for selling Vicodin

HARRISBURG — Gerard Grant, age 60 of Harrisburg, was sentenced to two years in federal prison today for unlawfully distributing prescription drugs.  Grant was sentenced by United States District Court Judge, Yvette Kane, in Harrisburg.

According to United States Attorney Bruce D. Brandler, Grant admitted to selling about 500 Vicodin pills, which contained hydrocodone, to an individual who was cooperating with the Drug Enforcement Agency.  Grant also admitted to selling the Vicodin on five different occasions in Harrisburg to other individuals.
