LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa.– Police are seeking a woman after she led police on a chase that lasted over 11 miles.

Serena Ann Schmuck, 31, was positively identified as the driver in the chase, and there is an active warrant for her arrest.

On November 27 at approximately 4 a.m., State Police in Lancaster attempted to conduct a traffic stop of a white 2013 Chevrolet Sonic. The vehicle went through radar at 111 MPH on Route 222 Northbound at Landis Valley Road in Manheim Township.

Schmuck refused to stop, and exited Route 222 at the Brownstown exit. She then led police over multiple roadways in West Earl Township.

Police ended pursuit after Schmuck turned her headlights off and successfully eluded police. In all, the chase covered 11.5 miles over approximately 12 minutes.

Now, Schmuck is facing charges of Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer, Driving Without Lights to Avoid Identification or Arrest among other charges.

Pennsylvania State Police ask that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Schmuck to contact police at 717-299-7650.
