DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. – Penbrook Borough Police arrested Taren Weedon, 27, following a traffic stop on Monday, November 28. The traffic stop led to the discovery of a stolen handgun and drug paraphernalia inside his vehicle. Weedon is a convicted felon who is prohibited from possessing a firearm.
Weedon was arraigned at night court and charged with Persons Not to Possess Firearms, Firearms Not to be Carried Without a License, Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving Under Suspension and other related traffic offenses. Following arraignment he was sent to Dauphin County Prison on $80,000 bail and a State Parole detainer.
