DERRY TOWNSHIP, DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa.-- A record was broken on the ice at GIANT Center on Sunday night, but it had nothing to do with hockey.

After the Hershey Bears scored their first goal, fans in the stands tossed thousands of stuffed teddy bears and other animals onto the ice.  The annual "Teddy Bear Toss" is an event fans look forward to all season.

On Sunday, a total of 20, 622 plush toys were tossed onto the rink, setting a new franchise record. The stuffed toys will be given to patients at Penn State Hershey Childrens' Hospital.
