Silver Spring Township Police Department are seeking help to identify a suspect who robbed Kwik Fill, 6479 Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg.

Police described the suspect as a 5’8″ white man, slender build, who was seen driving a black, mid to late 2000 Nissan Rouge model. He was wearing a dark jacket, possibly a Columbia Omni-shield, gray-knit hat, and gray handkerchief over his mouth and nose. Witnesses told police that he was wearing black shoes white soles with white edges on the soles.

The man entered the Kwik Fill at 5:55 p.m., when he asked to exchange some coins for a $5 bill. He then returned a few hours later wielding a 6-to-8 inch knife, according to police report.

At 8:42 p.m., police said, the man demanded cash from the clerk, who opened the registered drawer, giving him nearly $700 in various bills. He fled on foot, south on Carlisle Pike, police said. He ran through multiple businesses’ backyards until he reached the rear parking lot of Walmart, 6520 Carlisle Pike.

It was also noted that the suspect was wearing white earbuds with white wires during the robbery. He removed one ear piece to communicate with the clerk after giving his demands, witnesses told police.
