HARRISBURG, Pa., -- Supporters of Green Party candidate Dr. Jill Stein's recount efforts in Pennsylvania are scheduled to hold a rally in the Capitol rotunda Monday afternoon.
The rally is scheduled to start at 12:30 calling for a recount in the state.
Dr. Stein dropped her state lawsuit calling for a recount on Saturday but less than 24 hours later said she plans to take her efforts to federal court asking for a statewide recount on constitutional grounds.
According to Dr. Stein's counsel, the former green party candidate is committed to continuing her fight in Pennsylvania because she wants to protect the civil and voting rights of all Americans.
