Police release the name of victim from fatal Conoy Township crash

CONOY TOWNSHIP, LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Police have released the name of the driver killed in a single-car crash.

Michelle Evert, 34, was pronounced dead the scene of the crash.

The incident occurred in the 2300 block of River Road, as the vehicle was traveling north before striking a guide rail that caused the vehicle to roll over. Evert was ejected from the vehicle and was the only occupant.

It is unclear what caused Evert to lose control of the vehicle.

Police are continuing their investigation, and anyone that may have any information into the incident is asked to contact Susquehanna Regional Police.
