Mercersburg teen accused of giving out marijuana-laced cookie during cheerleading sleepover

MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa.–A Mercersburg teen is facing charges after state police say she gave a marijuana-laced cookie to other teens during a sleepover with the James Buchanan High School Cheerleading Team last month.

Payton  Hensley, 18, is charged with corruption of minors. The alleged incident occurred on November 18  at a home along the 10000 block of Mercersburg Road in Montgomery Township.

According to state police reports, Hensley was in possession of a marijuana-laced cookie while attending a sleepover with the James Buchanan Cheerleading Team. Troopers say Hensley shared the cookie with two Mercersburg teens, ages 16 and 17.
