CHILLY AND BREEZY: Temperatures again don’t go very far today, with lows in the mid to upper 30s and highs in the low to mid 40s thanks to the cold front passing through. Also thanks to the front, winds really will pick up and stay with us for the next few days. me-dma-futurecast-wind-gust-arrows-pmWind chills will remain in the low to mid 30s all day long with westerly winds at 10-15mph gusting to 30mph.

SNOW CHANCES ON THE WAY:  Temperatures drop well into the 30s for the weekend with wind chills in the teens in the morning and in the mid 20s throughout the day. We'll see a few flurries Friday afternoon. But heading into Sunday night and more for Monday, our first good chance of snow comes into the forecast. pm-dma-gfs-snow-bands-without-numbersThere’s still a lot of model disagreement later in the forecast, but lighter accumulations to the south with a little more snow to the north is possible. Regardless, the roads still will be wet for your Monday morning commute.

READY TO GET EVEN COLDER?  Another cold blast looks likely starting next

me-upper-level-flow-templateWednesday, which would bring us our coldest weather of the season thus far. Lows could drop well into the teens and single digits in some spots if the models verify. This is still a long ways out, with much disagreement, but continuing cold temperatures is something we can bank on. This time next week will be a bit colder.

Stay warm! Have a great day.
