Man shot near Double D’s in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa.–A 27-year-old man was hospitalized after being shot in Harrisburg early Thursday morning.

Officers responded to Double D’s Sportsbar and Grill located along the 500 block of South 19th Street for a report of a shooting. Investigators found the victim near the bar with a gunshot wound to his leg.  Officers also located multiple shell casings in the parking lot and along Brookwood Street.

The victim was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment.

Anyone that has information regarding this incident is asked to call police at 717-255-3170 or 717-255-3156 and ask for a detective or supervisor.

Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is  offering a reward of up to $2000 for information leading to an arrest in this incident.
