CUMBERLAND TOWNSHIP, ADAMS COUNTY, Pa.–Police in Adams County are trying to reunite 20 stolen packages with their rightful owners.

On Wednesday, Cumberland Township police stopped a suspicious vehicle driving in the township. Officers discovered numerous packages that were believed to be stolen from Adams and parts of York counties. An unidentified person in the vehicle admitted to stealing the packages after following UPS and FedEx delivery drivers, according to Sergeant Timothy Biggins.

Police have been getting a few phone calls from residents who never received their packages. Some of the thefts date back to November 28.

So far, 20 packages remain unclaimed, Biggins said.

Anyone who believes their were packages stolen is asked to contact their local police department and file a report.
