Steelton man caught with heroin, stolen prescription pad

STEELTON, DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa.–Police arrested a Steelton man Thursday on drug-related charges after he was found in possession of heroin.

Frank Wissler, 54, is charged with possession of heroin, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property.

Wissler was arrested Thursday along the 200 block of South 2nd Street. According to police reports, officers recovered multiple bags of suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia. Officers also recovered a stolen prescription pad from a doctor’s office in the Gettysburg area.

Wissler was arraigned on $10,000 unsecured bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 16.
