Wintry mix to end the weekend, even colder next week


FLURRIES AND A MIX FOR SUNDAY: We’re in for another dose of winter weather to finish the weekend. The National Weather Service issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for Franklin, Cumberland, Perry, Mifflin, Juniata, Dauphin and Lebanon counties until 1PM Monday afternoon. winterwxweek_day2_terms4This means small accumulations of snow, freezing rain and sleet are possible before rain takes over on Monday. Be careful as you head out on Sunday!


TURNS TO RAIN FOR MONDAY: Rain dominates most of Monday morning and into the early afternoon hours, but the clouds hang around all day long. bl_3-day-forecast-pm-forecast-editorTemperatures warm up into the 40s, but expect weather delays as you plan out your commute to work Monday morning.

EVEN COLDER NEXT WEEK: Our second round of Arctic air visits Central PA next Wednesday night and stays for a few days. After snow chances Wednesday, temperatures plummet into the teens for lows and 20s for highs for Thursday and Friday. Higher elevation lows may even dip into the single digits! Make sure to bundle up heavily to round out the week.
