Harrisburg, PA. - Officials and students from the Harrisburg School District celebrating this year's football season. Although the Cougars lost in the PIAA championship game against Archbishop Wood 37-10 Friday night, the players still made history by just being in the championship. The football team, coaches, cheerleaders and band members visited elementary and middle schools throughout Harrisburg as part of their school celebration tour. Students and staff had the opportunity to congratulate the team.

"We made it this far and we're just proud of ourselves, our city and all the supporters that showed us love," said Justin Carter, cornerback.

"They fought through a lot of adversity and to be able to do what they did this football season, it's nothing short of a miracle," said Calvin Everett, Harrisburg Cougars Head Coach.

The celebration ended with a rally at John Harris High School.
