Two die after Sunday afternoon crash in Peters Township

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.– Two people died after two cars collided Sunday afternoon.

Mathew Morey, 23, and Jordan Horn, 18, succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the incident.

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. on Buchanan Trail West in Peters Township.

Morey, the driver of the car, attempted to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone. While attempting to return to the original lane, Morey lost control of his vehicle and collided with a second car.

Two people were injured in the collision and taken to the hospital. There is no word on their conditions at this time.
