LOWER SWATARA TOWNSHIP, Pa.– A wanted Virginia felon was taken into custody at a Central Pennsylvania motel on Sunday.
Mustafa Kousmat, 28, was wanted in Virginia on charges of kidnapping, robbery, firearms violation,s and assault charges.
On December 11 at approximately 8 a.m., police received information that a man with a gun was staying in a motel in the 1300 block of Eisenhower Boulevard. Upon further investigation, police were able to identify the man as Kousmat.
Police set up a perimeter outside of the motel room Kousmat was in, and took him into custody without incident.
Kousmat was charged by police with being a fugitive from justice, and was placed in Dauphin County Prison to await extradition back to Virginia.
