HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Nothing says stress relief like a wet nose.  Students at Widener University's law school took time away from studying to hang out with some therapy animals on Tuesday.  Dogs from Caring Hearts Pet Therapy visited the campus to help the students reduce their stress load during final exams.  The dogs visit the students several times each semester to help them relax and regain focus.

"We go to various schools, libraries, elementary schools, high schools and colleges," said Kathey Laverty, Program Director of Caring Hearts Pet Therapy.  "It's important for the students because it really relaxes them during their finals period and makes them study a little better."

Outside of visits to schools, the canines have busy schedules.  The pet teams also visit veterans, hospice organizations and retirement communities throughout the year.
