Police ask for help in identifying man who stole wallet

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — Police are investigating a theft of a wallet that occurred at a Turkey Hill in Derry Township on Thursday, Dec. 15.

The theft happened around 9:40 p.m. and video footage from the store shows a black male wearing a black jacket and a black hat standing by the checkout counter.  A wallet that belonged to an elderly man was accidentally left on the counter, the male suspect was seen coming back over to the counter and taking the wallet before leaving the store.

Police are asking for assistance in identifying the male shown in the photo. Anyone who has any information is asked to contact the Derry Township Police Department at 717-534-2202.
