MIFFLIN COUNTY, Pa. – Coroner Daniel P. Lynch issues a warning to drug users. The warning follows six heroin overdose deaths in the county last week. There has also been several resuscitated heroin overdose incidents as well.
Lynch says there is a very good chance that anyone who has bought heroin recently will die if they use it. He says this is the first surge in drug deaths in Mifflin County in several years.
Heroin deaths in Pennsylvania are at epidemic levels.
