Two cars destroyed in house fire in Lower Paxton Township

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — A fire in Lower Paxton Township started around 7:30 p.m.  at 670 Colleen Dr.

According to dispatch there was heavy smoke and flames were visible when firefighters arrived on the scene.

lowerpaxtonFirefighters say that one man was taken to Hershey  Medical Center for second degree burns.  The mans wife was also in the house at the time but has no injuries.  A cat was also rescued from the home.

Two cars were in the driveway at the time and were destroyed by the fire.
