Bank robbery in Manheim Borough

MANHEIM, Pa. – Manheim Borough police responded at about 2:41 p.m. Friday afternoon to a reported bank robbery at the BB&T Bank branch at 2 Market Square.

The male suspect demanded an undisclosed amount of cash from the tellers. He was described to be medium complexion about 5’8”- 6’0” tall, average built. The suspect was wearing a dark or black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, dark colored ski mask with reflective lensed sun glasses, grey sweat pants, gloves and was holding a yellow plastic grocery bag.

The bandit did not display a weapon and was last seen fleeing west on West Danner Ally and got in a red Honda Accord. The Honda was last seen driving  south on North Charlotte Street, toward the intersection with Market Square.
