Police searching for suspect in bank robbery

SPRINGETTSBURY TWP., YORK COUNTY, Pa. — Police are searching for a suspect in bank in York County. Police responded to Members 1st Federal Credit Union, 2420 Mt. Rose Ave., just after 2 p.m.

Investigation revealed that a middle aged black male wearing a sweatshirt and dark colored pants entered the credit union and demanded money.

According to police no weapon was displayed and the male left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers from multiple York County Agencies searched the area but were not able to locate the male.

Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact the Springettsbury Township Police at 717.757.3525.

The York JCC lockdown has been lifted and they are back to normal operations.
