Small aircraft crashes in York County field

WINDSOR TWP., York County, Pa. — A small plane crashed in a field in Windsor Township just after noon. It happened near the 300 block of White Oak Road. There were initially reports that the pilot made an emergency landing for medical reasons. The wing of the aircraft was damaged. York Area Regional Police are on the scene and the FAA is en route to investigate.

The pilot was taken to the hospital.
