LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa.-- One woman is dead and two toddlers are injured in a crash in Penn Township, Lancaster County.

The victims have not been identified, pending the notification of next of kin.

One child was taken to Hershey Medical Center in critical condition; the other is seriously injured.

The crash is in the 800 block of Route 72 between Auction Road & Sun Hill Road.

A car was reported to be under a tractor trailer, and the coroner has been called to the scene.

"I saw a tractor trailer, sort of like a tractor trailer, on top of a vehicle a white car," said Juan Lopez, who walked by the scene.

The road was closed for several hours, and 15 people temporarily lost power after utility poles broke and wires came down across the roadway.

"There have been crashes there in the past, but it's been nothing to this magnitude that I can recall," said Lt. George Pappas of Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department.
